ActionHRM partners with best-of-breed service providers that specialize in performing background, criminal, and credit checks. These partners are integrated with ActionHRM so that checks can be built into recruitment and new-hire processes and monitored and tracked automatically, right from within the software. When a background check, for example, uncovers an issue with a potential new hire, a “red flag” is posted in ActionHRM so that you know to request a detailed report from the service provider.

Now you can create and centrally manage complete job descriptions that include job purpose, competencies and skills, qualifications, accountabilities, pay grading, and job evaluation. Based on this job description, you can then define any number of positions available for a job, as well as systematically manage those positions to control recruitment and headcount. You’ll improve productivity by standardizing job descriptions and linking them to organization goals, as well as reduce recruitment costs and effort by creating clear skills requirements.

ActionHRM gives you all the tools you need to manage the recruitment process from job posting through on boarding. You can receive applications sent via mail and phone, as well as from external and internal Web sites. Apply prescreening techniques to online applications, and manage applicant correspondence throughout the process using mail merge templates. You can also initiate and store the results of criminal, credit, and background checks, and schedule interviews with the online calendar. The solution also supports applicant banding, letting you compile applicant data with recruitment notes, standardized assessments, and information about a candidate’s suitability for the job.

Applicant Tracking and Recruitment

ActionHRM provides you with a highly secure application portal where applicants can both register their interest in an advertised role and upload key information such as social media links, resume's and references. All applications can then be brought into the core HRMS system with the click of a button and when hired these same records can be converted to employee files.
